1. What DisputeDesk is
DisputeDesk is operated by Dominion Lux Holdings Limited.
DisputeDesk is a software tool that helps ecommerce merchants draft customer communication replies and structure evidence packs for dispute and chargeback situations. It does not provide legal advice, legal representation, or guaranteed dispute outcomes.
2. Not a law firm
DisputeDesk is not a law firm. DisputeDesk does not provide legal advice.
All outputs generated by DisputeDesk (including customer replies, evidence packs, and chargeback narratives) are templates based on the information you provide. They must be reviewed by you before use. You are responsible for the accuracy, appropriateness, and legality of all communications sent to customers and submitted to payment processors or dispute bodies.
3. Merchant responsibility
You are solely responsible for:
- All customer communications sent using DisputeDesk output
- All dispute and chargeback submissions
- Verifying that outputs are accurate for your specific situation
- Compliance with consumer protection law in your jurisdiction
- Your own store policies and their enforceability
4. Lifetime deal: scope and limitations
Lifetime access applies only to the Founding Plan limits purchased. It does not include unlimited usage, enterprise features, white-label, API access, done-for-you support, or future premium add-ons unless explicitly stated.
Founding Lifetime Deal access is limited to the tier and monthly limits purchased at the time of redemption. Lifetime access means no recurring subscription payment is required. It does not mean:
- Unlimited cases beyond your tier limit
- Enterprise features, white-label rights, or API access
- Done-for-you dispute handling
- Legal advice or representation
- Future premium add-ons not explicitly listed in your tier
- The right to resell or share account access
Abuse, resale, scraping, or excessive automated use may result in account suspension without refund.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use DisputeDesk to:
- Generate fraudulent or misleading communications
- Harass, threaten, or intimidate customers
- Scrape or automate requests beyond normal product use
- Resell, sublicense, or share account access
- Use the product for any unlawful purpose
6. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We may update, change, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. Lifetime members will receive maximum notice of any significant changes affecting their access.
7. Refunds
Where payment is processed through Paddle, refunds are handled in accordance with Paddle's applicable Buyer Terms and Refund Policy. To request a refund for a Paddle transaction, contact support@getdisputedesk.com with your order details and we will assist with the request.
Cancelling a subscription stops future renewal charges but does not automatically create a refund unless a refund is approved under Paddle's applicable policy or required by law.
If payment is processed through another provider, the refund terms shown at checkout or provided by that payment provider will apply.
This section does not limit any rights you may have under applicable law. See our Refund Policy for full details.
8. Limitation of liability
DisputeDesk is provided as-is. We are not liable for any outcomes related to dispute filings, chargeback decisions, customer relationship damage, or business losses arising from use of DisputeDesk outputs. Use at your own judgement.
9. Payments and billing
DisputeDesk is operated by Dominion Lux Holdings Limited. DisputeDesk has two distinct billing contexts. The billing terms for each context are set out below.
9a. Shopify App Store installs
Merchants who install DisputeDesk through the Shopify App Store are billed exclusively through the Shopify Billing API. All plan subscriptions, trial periods, and recurring charges for Shopify App Store merchants are processed and managed by Shopify. DisputeDesk does not collect off-platform payments from Shopify App Store merchants and does not direct Shopify-installed merchants to Paddle or any external payment processor for app charges.
Shopify App Store merchants manage their subscription inside the DisputeDesk embedded app within Shopify Admin. Refunds and billing disputes for Shopify billing are handled according to Shopify's policies.
9b. Direct web subscribers
Merchants and individuals who subscribe directly at getdisputedesk.com outside of the Shopify App Store may be billed through Paddle.com Market Limitedor its applicable affiliate ("Paddle"), acting as Merchant of Record and authorised reseller. Paddle handles payment processing, applicable taxes, invoicing, and refund processing for Paddle transactions.
By completing a purchase through Paddle you agree to Paddle's applicable Buyer Terms and Privacy Policy, as well as these Terms.
9c. Founding Lifetime Deal and partner marketplaces
Lifetime deal purchases made directly at getdisputedesk.com or through approved partner marketplaces (including AppSumo, SaaS Mantra, Dealify, and similar) are available to direct non-Shopify purchasers only. These offers are not part of the Shopify App Store billing flow and are not accessible to Shopify App Store merchants for app charges.
9d. General billing terms
- Monthly plans are billed in advance at the start of each billing period
- Cancellation stops future billing; access continues until the period end
- Lifetime deals are one-time purchases with no recurring charge
- DisputeDesk does not store or process payment card details on its own servers
- All prices are in USD unless stated otherwise at checkout
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email to registered users. Continued use of DisputeDesk after notification constitutes acceptance.
