Refund Policy
Last updated: May 2025
DisputeDesk is a digital software product operated by Dominion Lux Holdings Limited.
DisputeDesk has two distinct billing contexts. Refund terms differ by billing context.
Shopify App Store subscriptions
Merchants who subscribe to DisputeDesk through the Shopify App Store are billed through the Shopify Billing API. Refunds for Shopify App Store subscriptions are handled in accordance with Shopify's policies and the terms of the Shopify Billing API.
DisputeDesk does not collect off-platform payments from Shopify App Store merchants. Shopify App Store merchants are not directed to Paddle or any external payment processor for app charges.
To request a refund for a Shopify billing transaction, contact support@getdisputedesk.com and we will assist.
Paddle transactions (direct web subscribers)
Where payment is processed through Paddle, refunds are handled in accordance with Paddle's applicable Buyer Terms and Refund Policy. Paddle acts as Merchant of Record and is responsible for payment processing, applicable taxes, invoicing, and refund processing for Paddle transactions.
To request a refund for a Paddle transaction, please contact support@getdisputedesk.com with your order details and we will assist with the request. You may also follow the refund request process provided directly by Paddle.
Any refund approved by Paddle will be processed back to the original payment method according to Paddle's processing rules and timelines.
Subscriptions
Cancelling a subscription stops future renewal charges but does not automatically create a refund unless a refund is approved under Paddle's applicable policy or required by law.
Other payment providers
If payment is processed through another provider, the refund terms shown at checkout or provided by that payment provider will apply.
Your legal rights
This policy does not limit any rights you may have under applicable law.
